The current street salvage bottle count (since September 2011) is:
After a chance find one day I worked out that one of the best source of free bottle materials to work with is all around….on the streets where you live. By picking up discarded bottles on the street, regardless if you end up using them or not, you’re getting free materials to work with, and helping to keep your local environment cleaner and safer for all. Around 75-80% of the bottles I’ve collected from the streets so far have been re-used in part or whole. All the remainder and all remnants and failures are fully recycled through the local household glass recycling schemes and collection points.
Don’t walk past a glass bottle on the street. Pick it up. Everyone’s a winner.
